Mission statement: The Therapeutic Foster Care Program at Seattle Mental Health is committed to providing holistic and culturally sensitive therapeutic foster care services to youth and families in the community where they live.

Primary Focus: Short-term respite care to long term care in a culturally appropriate setting.

Parenting/other classes: Monthly meetings for foster parents which include ongoing training and support. A parent support group is available through the outpatient department.
